About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Hanger/Textiles team member to sort, inspect, hang, and tag clothing while meeting production goals. The role suits a dependable, organized person who can work independently, stay alert to clothing defects, avoid distractions, and work efficiently. Team members are expected to maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds. Goodwill is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with more than 1,100 team members, 52 retail stores, 20 career centers, and attended donation centers across a 31-county territory. Its mission is to provide employment and training services that help people find jobs and reach financial stability. The organization describes its work environment as professional, fast-paced, and fulfilling. The listed pay is $15.00. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
