About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring Clothing Hangers/Inspectors to sort, inspect, hang, and tag clothing for retail stores. The role suits a goal-oriented, dependable person with attention to detail who can work independently, stay organized, avoid distractions, and meet production goals. Goodwill does not stock merchandise that fails to meet its quality standards. Associates maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work area and may be cross-trained in cash register duties or receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday starting at 11 a.m.; associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Pay is $15.00.

Requirements

Ability to work independently, stay organized and dependable, and meet production goals.
Attention to detail and ability to identify apparel defects.
Ability to focus and work efficiently while hanging and tagging clothing.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
