About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Hanger/Textiles associate. The role involves sorting, inspecting, hanging, and tagging clothing to meet Goodwill’s quality standards. Successful candidates enjoy working independently, are organized and dependable, pay close attention to detail, and can meet production goals while working efficiently. Associates are responsible for maintaining a safe, neat, and efficient work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds. The stated pay is $15.00. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and remain organized and dependable.
Attention to detail and ability to identify clothing defects.
Ability to focus and work efficiently toward production goals.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
