About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a dependable, organized, goal-oriented Clothing Hanger/Inspector who works independently, pays close attention to detail, and can meet production goals. The role involves sorting clothing for quality and defects, hanging and tagging clothing efficiently, and maintaining a safe, neat, and productive work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period, including paid time off, a pension plan, medical and dental coverage, and tuition reimbursement.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and remain organized and dependable.
- Ability to meet production goals and work efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify clothing defects.
- Must be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production or similar experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sort clothing and identify defects to ensure merchandise meets Goodwill's quality standards.
- Hang and tag clothing efficiently while maintaining focus and avoiding distractions.
