About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills while building relationships with retailer teams and representing Hallmark. You will maintain product placement and inventory, collaborate with store employees, and support seasonal resets and installations. The role may occasionally involve products from other companies in the stores you service.

The position averages 1–3 hours per week and has a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed before and after major holidays, during seasonal changeovers, and for installations or inventory support. Availability around major holidays, including weekends, is required; work on some holidays may also be required. Resets and remodel assignments may involve evenings or weekends, and notice is typically provided two weeks in advance.

Daily work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays in retail stores, communicating with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys using a Hallmark-provided mobile device. You may also help build and install fixtures, relocate departments and products, and reset card sections. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available around major holidays, including weekends, and to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers.
• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department.
• Maintain the Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement.
• Communicate with supervisors using a mobile device, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand with additional service days and extended hours around holidays.
• Help build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
