About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, using organization and time-management skills while building relationships with store teams. You are responsible for Hallmark product displays and inventory in stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role includes routine merchandising, seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and helping other merchandisers in their territories as needed. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 10–15 hours per week, with additional days or extended hours around seasonal demands. Starting pay is $13.75–$15.75 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Employees with schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside Hallmark departments at assigned stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required activity surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, managers, and customers.
• Provide additional support around holidays, which may involve extra days, extended work hours, or working on the holiday itself, including weekends.
• Participate in seasonal resets and installations, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other team members in their territories as needed.
• Travel to and between assigned retail stores as scheduled.
