As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support coworkers with seasonal resets and installations. You may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, time reporting, communication, feedback, and surveys. Professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers are important. The schedule is variable during the work week and averages 11–13 hours per week. Seasonal demand may bring additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays, and some holiday, evening, or weekend work may be required. The job is physically demanding and takes place on store selling floors and in back stockrooms. Merchandisers must frequently handle loads up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, stand, and potentially climb stairs and step ladders. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.
