About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to maintain Hallmark product displays, monitor inventory, and build positive relationships with store teams. You will restock and organize products, communicate with your supervisor using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, and provide courteous service to store employees, management, and customers. The role may also involve supporting other merchandisers in nearby territories and, on occasion, working with products from other companies in stores you service. The position has a variable weekday schedule averaging 10–15 hours per week. Workload and hours may increase around seasonal holidays, including possible work on the holiday itself, as well as during season changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Department reset work may include building or installing fixtures, moving card departments and products, and resetting card sections; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. This is a physically demanding role performed on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. Employees must regularly handle merchandise and fixtures, move throughout the workday, and may need to use stairs or step ladders. Applicants must be at least 18, able to read, write, and understand English, use a digital hand-held device, access Wi-Fi and the internet, and have consistent transportation between assigned stores. Employment is contingent on work authorization, required agreements and forms, and successfully passing a post-offer background check.
