About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to showcase products, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, and may support coworkers with seasonal resets, installations, and other products in the stores you service.

The role includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and inventory monitoring; holiday support that may involve additional days and extended hours; and department resets, including installing fixtures, relocating products, and resetting card sections. You are responsible for Hallmark product displays at assigned stores and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communication. The position has a variable weekday schedule averaging up to 12 hours per week, with required availability around major holidays and for seasonal work. The starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside assigned Hallmark departments.
• Maintain the Hallmark product display at assigned retail stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
• Provide holiday support, which may involve additional workdays and extended hours before and after major holidays; some holiday work may be required.
• Support installations and department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Remain available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
