About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a Guitar Technician (Luthier) to perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist with maintaining specific store inventory. The role supports business growth through excellent customer experiences and quality workmanship. The technician interacts with customers, services instruments with a high level of craftsmanship, maintains store-owned gear as requested, and completes warranty repairs. Successful technicians demonstrate customer focus, initiative, selling aptitude, and the ability to train and communicate effectively.

Requirements

Skilled understanding of repairing guitars.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
Complete warranty repair work.
Handle additional duties as assigned.
Work through Guitar Center's certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
Train learners effectively and communicate information and techniques so they are retained.
