About The Position
Guitar Center is seeking a part-time Guitar Technician (Luthier), also described as a Repair Technician (Guitar), to perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and help maintain designated store inventory. The role supports business growth through excellent customer experiences and quality workmanship. Successful technicians are customer-focused, take initiative, build product and operational knowledge, work through Guitar Center’s certification program to learn products and sales techniques, and can effectively train and communicate techniques to others. The listed pay rate is $15.00 to $22.50 per hour, plus commission, depending on background and experience.
