About The Position
As a Repair Technician (Guitar), you will perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and help maintain specific store inventory. The role supports the business by providing a positive customer experience and high-quality craftsmanship. Guitar Center’s mission is to develop and nurture lifelong musicians and help people experience the joy of creating music in an inclusive, customer-focused environment. The position calls for a customer-focused, approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful technician who can connect with customers and assist with service issues. Successful technicians take initiative, learn quickly, build product and store-operations knowledge, and communicate information and techniques effectively when training others. The role also involves completing Guitar Center’s certification program to develop a foundational understanding of products and sales techniques.

- Skilled understanding of guitar repair.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
