About The Position
Guitar Center is seeking a Guitar Technician (Luthier) to perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and help maintain specific store inventory. The role supports business growth by providing a positive customer experience and quality craftsmanship. The technician interacts with customers, services instruments, maintains store-owned gear as requested, and completes warranty repairs. Additional duties may be assigned. Successful technicians demonstrate customer focus, initiative, willingness to develop product and store-operation knowledge, and the ability to train and communicate techniques effectively. Requirements
- Skilled understanding of repairing guitars.
- Ability to provide an excellent customer experience and connect with customers in a meaningful way.
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues, follow through on work, learn quickly, and take initiative.
- Ability to train learners effectively and communicate information and techniques so they are retained.
- Ability to complete Guitar Center's certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
