About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a Repair Technician (Guitar) to perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and help maintain specified store inventory. The role supports business growth through quality work and a positive customer experience. The technician is expected to demonstrate craftsmanship, customer focus, initiative, and the ability to learn product knowledge, store operations, sales, and leadership skills. The role also includes working through Guitar Center’s certification program to develop a foundation in products and sales techniques, and effectively training others by communicating information and techniques.

Requirements

Skilled understanding of guitar repair.
Ability to provide an excellent customer experience and connect with customers in a meaningful way.
Ability to identify opportunities and issues, follow through on work, and take positive action independently.
Ability to learn quickly and develop knowledge and skills in products, store operations, sales, and leadership.
Ability to work through Guitar Center’s certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities
