About The Position

The Guitar Technician (Luthier) provides maintenance and repair services for customer-owned instruments and helps maintain specific store inventory. The role supports business growth through a positive customer experience and high-quality craftsmanship. Requirements

Skilled understanding of guitar repair.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and connect with customers in a meaningful way.

Ability to develop knowledge and skills in products, store operations, sales, and leadership.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
Complete warranty repair work.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work through the Guitar Center certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
Effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so they are retained.
