About The Position
Guitar Center is hiring a Guitar Technician (Luthier) to perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and help maintain specific store inventory. The role supports the company’s mission of nurturing musicians and providing customers with a positive experience through quality work. Repair Technicians are expected to demonstrate customer focus, initiative, and an ability to learn about products, store operations, sales, and leadership. The position also involves developing product and sales knowledge through Guitar Center’s certification program and effectively training and communicating techniques to others.
Requirements
- Skilled understanding of repairing guitars.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
