About The Position
The Guitar Technician (Luthier), also described as a Repair Technician (Guitar), provides maintenance and repair services for customer-owned instruments and assists with maintenance of designated store inventory. The role supports Guitar Center’s mission to nurture musicians and create an inclusive, customer-first environment by delivering quality work and a positive customer experience. Successful technicians demonstrate customer focus, initiative, a willingness to develop product, store-operations, sales, and leadership knowledge, and the ability to train and communicate techniques effectively. The role includes completing Guitar Center’s certification program to build a foundational understanding of products and sales techniques.

- Skilled understanding of guitar repair.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
