About The Position
Guitar Center is seeking a Guitar Technician (Luthier) to maintain and repair customer-owned instruments and assist with maintaining specific store inventory. The role supports business growth by providing a positive customer experience and high-quality work. Successful technicians are customer-focused, approachable, knowledgeable, and able to address customer-service issues. They show initiative, learn quickly, develop product and store-operation knowledge, and communicate techniques effectively when training others. Technicians are also able to complete Guitar Center’s certification program to develop a foundational understanding of products and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Skilled understanding of guitar repair.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
