About The Position
Guitar Center is seeking a part-time Guitar Technician (Luthier) to maintain and repair customer-owned instruments and assist with maintenance of designated store inventory. The Repair Technician provides high-quality craftsmanship and customer service, helping build the business through a positive customer experience and quality work. The role includes interacting with customers, performing instrument service and warranty repairs, and maintaining store-owned gear as requested. Successful technicians demonstrate customer focus, initiative, a willingness to develop product, store operations, sales, and leadership knowledge, and the ability to train and communicate techniques effectively. Technicians can work through Guitar Center's certification program to build a foundation in products and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Skilled understanding of guitar repair.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
