About The Position

Guitar Center is hiring a Guitar Technician (Luthier) to provide maintenance and repair services for customer-owned instruments and help maintain designated store inventory. The technician will build business through quality work and a strong customer experience, interacting with customers and completing instrument, store-inventory, and warranty repairs. Successful technicians are customer-focused, take initiative, develop product and store knowledge, work through Guitar Center’s certification program to learn products and sales techniques, and can effectively train others.

Requirements

Skilled understanding of guitar repair.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and connect meaningfully with customers.
Ability to identify opportunities and issues and follow through to resolve or capitalize on them.
Ability to learn quickly and take positive action independently.
Ability to develop knowledge and skills in products, store operations, sales, and leadership.
Ability to work through the Guitar Center certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
Ability to train learners effectively and communicate information and techniques so they are retained.

Responsibilities
