About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate, you welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their stay, from registration through checkout. You share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room-rate quotes, and reserve and confirm reservations. You also handle guest transactions and cashiering responsibilities, ensure guest folios reflect accurate charges and credits, and respond promptly and thoroughly to guest questions and concerns.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashiering and money-handling duties.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify that guest folios show the correct charges and credits.
• Reserve and confirm individual and group reservations.
• Provide guests with room-rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
