About The Position

The Front Desk Agent provides guest services at Worldmark Tropicana Resort, helping make guests’ vacations memorable from registration through checkout. The role welcomes guests, shares information about the resort and nearby attractions, provides room rate quotes, confirms reservations, and responds to guest inquiries and concerns. The shift varies and may include days, mids, and evenings.

Requirements

• Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them through registration.
• Issue unit keys and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashiering and money-handling duties.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify that guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide guests with room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
