About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate at Worldmark Tropicana Resort, you will provide friendly, welcoming service and help make guests’ vacations memorable from registration through checkout. You will share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room rate quotes, and confirm reservations. The shift varies and may include mids and evenings.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, friendly service.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashier and money-handling responsibilities.
• Complete check-out procedures and verify that guest folios show the correct charges and credits.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide guests with room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
