About The Position
As a Guest Service/Sales Associate at European Wax Center, you create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. With an upbeat, friendly demeanor and sales acumen, you help make each guest interaction positive and memorable. The role involves working at the front desk and lobby, learning about the center’s services and retail products, supporting guest reservations and inquiries, and contributing to a clean, organized, and collaborative environment. The position may be part-time or full-time and is located in Montvale, New Jersey. The listed salary range includes the base hourly rate plus package sales commission.
Requirements
- One year of related service or retail experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and computer technology.
- Ability to adapt to different guest personalities and remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in activity as business needs require.
- Ability to stand or sit at a desk, and to stand, walk, and sit as required; the time spent on these tasks varies from day to day.
- Ability to maneuver between simultaneous activities at a well-paced rate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to communicate continuously with clients, coworkers, and management through talking and hearing.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
- Engage guests to understand their needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
- Educate guests about wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of regular waxing, and prebooking.
- Maintain knowledge of European Wax Center services and its retail line.
- Uphold Artemis Wax standards and protocols.
- Address guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an organized, inviting front desk and lobby in accordance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Support colleagues and share product knowledge to foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain brand knowledge and improve sales techniques.
