About The Position

As a Guest Service/Sales Associate at European Wax Center, you help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. A friendly, upbeat demeanor and sales skills support positive guest interactions. The role includes learning about European Wax Center services and retail products, educating guests on wax passes, promotions, regular waxing, and prebooking, and upholding Artemis Wax standards and core values: Team Players, Play to Win, Bring the Energy, and Commitment. The position is part-time and based in Livingston, New Jersey.

Requirements

• One year of related service or retail experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for clear, effective guest interactions.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and computer technology.
• Ability to adapt to different guest personalities and remain calm under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, accept constructive feedback, and adapt to changing business activity.
• Ability to stand or sit at a desk, walk, and move between simultaneous tasks; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Talk with guests to understand their needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Educate guests about wax pass options, promotions, the benefits of regular waxing, and prebooking.
• Maintain knowledge of European Wax Center services and its retail line.
• Uphold Artemis Wax standards and protocols.
• Answer guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Keep the front desk and lobby organized, inviting, clean, and hygienic in accordance with brand standards.
• Support colleagues and share product knowledge to foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain brand knowledge and sales skills.
