About The Position
As a Guest Service/Sales Associate at European Wax Center, you create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your friendly, upbeat demeanor and sales skills help ensure positive and memorable guest interactions. The role includes welcoming guests, learning about their needs and skincare goals, educating them about wax passes, promotions, regular waxing, prebooking, and retail products, and supporting reservations and guest concerns. You will maintain the front desk and lobby, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in ongoing training. Work is primarily indoors in a moderate, controlled temperature environment. The position requires adapting to changing business activity, communicating with guests and coworkers, and performing the physical duties described in the posting.
Requirements
- One year of related service or retail experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with point-of-sale systems and computer technology.
- Ability to adapt to varying guest personalities and remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, accept constructive feedback, and adapt to changing activity.
- Ability to stand or sit at a desk, walk, and move between simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

- Previous sales experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
- Engage guests to understand their needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
- Educate guests about wax pass options, promotions, the benefits of regular waxing, and prebooking.
- Maintain knowledge of European Wax Center services and retail products.
- Uphold Artemis Wax standards and protocols.
- Address guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Keep the front desk and lobby organized, inviting, clean, and hygienic.
- Support colleagues and share product knowledge to foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain brand knowledge and improve sales techniques.
