Guest Room Attendant
About The Position
The Guest Room Attendant cleans assigned guest rooms and responds to guest requests to help deliver outstanding guest service and support the hotel’s financial profitability. The role includes routine room cleaning, replenishing linens and amenities, deep cleaning when needed, maintaining and transporting a housekeeping supply cart, disposing of waste and recyclables, and providing turn-down service as needed. The listed duties are examples of typical job responsibilities and are not exhaustive. Other job-related duties may be assigned by the associate’s supervisor. Responsibilities
- Clean assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
- Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Perform guest turn-down service as needed.
- Complete other job-related duties assigned by the associate’s supervisor.
