About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant ensures that hotel public and Guest room areas are maintained and cleaned daily to AAA Four Diamond standards. The role includes requesting supplies and equipment to maintain these areas and responding to Guest inquiries while upholding established service standards. All duties must be performed in accordance with Company standards, policies, and procedures. The attendant participates in daily pre-shift meetings, cleans and stocks Guest rooms, completes assigned room credits within the allotted time, and performs general cleaning tasks. The position also involves identifying hazards and areas requiring attention, maintaining assigned carts and equipment, and fostering an accountable, success-oriented environment at Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in written and verbal form, by telephone, and by radio.
Ability to communicate by assigned device and radio.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and use elevators for prolonged periods.
Ability to crouch, kneel, push, turn, carry, and pull.
Ability to inspect items at floor level.
Manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
Normal or corrected vision, ability to see color, and ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
Previous Guest Room Attendant experience preferred.
Previous experience working with job-related mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards.
Participate in daily pre-shift meetings outlining activities and expectations.
Clean and stock Guest rooms to AAA Four Diamond standards.
Strip beds and replace mattress pads, comforters, and pillows as needed.
Replace towels and linens daily; remake beds with fresh linen and report rips or stains.
Stock and maintain the cart during and at the end of the shift.
Complete the daily assignment of twelve credits within the allotted time and perform general cleaning as assigned.
Clean additional rooms as needed, accounting for rooms that refuse service, are already clean, or are marked Do Not Disturb.
Check daily for areas needing specific attention, identify potential hazards, and report them to supervision.
Sign out mobile devices, sidekicks, and master keys daily.
Clean baseboards and door frames as needed.
Clean windows within arm’s reach as needed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including folding linens and cleaning Guest landing areas.
Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
Follow OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals.
Respond to Guest inquiries while maintaining established AAA Four Diamond standards.
