About The Position

Housekeeper Guest Room Attendants maintain a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms. They thoroughly clean rooms after guests check out in preparation for the next guest and refresh rooms for guests continuing their stay. The role also includes restocking guest-room items, communicating room status, removing room-service trays and tables, maintaining an organized supply cart, checking equipment, and responding to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Morning/daytime availability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time.
• Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Restock and replace used items in guest rooms.
• Communicate the clean status of each room upon completion.
• Remove room-service trays and tables from guest rooms.
• Stock the supply cart and keep it neat and well organized.
• Check equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Respond to hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner.
