About The Position

The Housekeeping Guest Room Attendant at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and maintaining room supplies and equipment. The role involves making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, replacing used items, and reporting room-cleaning status. The attendant also removes room service trays and tables, keeps the supply cart organized, checks equipment before and after use, and responds to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. The position requires attention to detail, customer service skills, physical stamina, and availability to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time.
• Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Restock and replace used items in guest rooms.
• Communicate the clean status of each room upon completion.
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
• Stock the supply cart and keep it neat and organized.
• Check equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Respond efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner to hotel guests.
