About The Position

The Housekeeping Guest Room Attendant thoroughly cleans guest rooms, restocks and replaces used items, and communicates each room’s clean status upon completion. The role also includes removing room service trays and tables, keeping the supply cart neat and organized, checking equipment before and after use, and responding to hotel guests in an efficient and appropriately friendly manner.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time.
• Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms.
• Communicate the clean status of each room upon completion.
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
• Stock the supply cart and keep it neat and well organized.
• Check equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Respond to hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner.
