About the position
This role at Faire is focused on defining and building the European retailer go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to accelerate growth and will have high visibility within the company, regularly presenting to the executive team. Operating as an individual contributor, the role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. The main goal is to accelerate growth in Europe and contribute to Faire's success in supporting independent businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop, refine and execute on go-to-market strategy to accelerate retailer acquisition
- Monitor and iterate on sales motion performance through analyses, research, and building reports and KPI dashboards
- Identify issues, develop hypotheses, and complete in-depth analyses to translate data into meaningful insights
- Structure complex and ambiguous strategic questions with analytical rigor, customer insight, and input from internal and external experts
- Present findings/recommendations and discuss implications with Faire's executive team
- Develop operational processes and fill gaps to translate recommendations into execution in collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing, Ops, and Finance teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in consulting and/or business operations at a high growth startup and/or marketplace business
- Highly analytical and data-driven
- Ability to lead through influence and execute extremely well
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think across multiple dimensions of a business and P&L
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
- Knowledge of SQL preferred
