About the position
We're looking for an Associate to support the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting of our increasingly sophisticated business. This role will work closely with finance leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure relevant and timely forecasting and reporting, as well as support company-wide headcount reporting and tracking. The ideal candidate should have experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, and project management, with the ability to make complex financial matters understandable to all stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Partner with finance and cross-functional business leaders to ensure relevant and timely forecasting and reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead company-wide headcount reporting and tracking
- Identify process improvements to increase forecast accuracy and planning efficiency
- Handle ad hoc projects and financial analysis
- Conduct quantitative/financial analysis and develop recommendations based on the analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and showcase leadership/project management skills
- Make complex financial matters understandable to all constituents and stakeholders
- Work as a team player to achieve corporate objectives
- Follow Faire's flexible work model and choose how to work (in-office, remotely, or a mix of both)
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in corporate finance or similar position with emphasis on financial analysis and forecasting
- Experience conducting quantitative/financial analysis and developing recommendations based on this analysis
- History of working collaboratively with cross-functional leaders and/or showcasing leadership/project management skills in a project setting
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to make complex financial matters understandable to all constituents and stakeholders
- Team player who wants to win while also having fun with teammates along the way
