About The Position

Cosuno is a platform for construction tendering in the German-speaking market, connecting general contractors that publish bid packages with subcontractors that bid on them. As the first engineer in a lean marketing team, the GTM & Growth Engineer builds the automation and data capabilities behind marketing and growth, shaping how the growth stack is built. The role identifies manual work and underused data, develops solutions for areas such as paid marketing, lifecycle, sales handovers, and content, and reuses successful capabilities across those areas. Work is done closely with the Senior Lifecycle & Customer Growth Manager, Demand Generation Manager, and Marketing Lead, with an emphasis on business outcomes rather than infrastructure for its own sake. The engineer automates marketing and lifecycle operations using triggers, segments, workflows, and personalization in ActiveCampaign and Salesforce. They develop paid-marketing automation, including audience synchronization and suppression using CRM and product data, conversion data feedback to ad platforms, and campaign feeds and landing pages that adapt to Marketplace bid gaps. They connect and maintain usable data signals across product events, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, enrichment, transaction history, and the BigQuery warehouse. They also automate creative production within brand templates, with human review before publication; create reusable capabilities across paid, lifecycle, sales, and content; replace manual tasks and unused data workflows with automation and LLM-based tools; and enable rapid experimentation with reusable tests, holdouts, and measurement. The role requires careful launches with human checks in every automation, validation against controls or holdouts before scaling, and a launch plan that defines scope, review steps, rollout, and rollback.

Requirements

  • Experience building marketing or growth automation that runs in production, such as paid-media integrations, CRM and lifecycle workflows, or data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Clay.
  • Knowledge of ad-platform and CRM data, including audiences, conversion tracking, and attribution limitations.
  • Experience shipping LLM-based or agentic automation into a real workflow.
  • An outcome-oriented approach, including measuring what is built and prioritizing working use cases over unnecessary platforms.
  • Careful execution, including manually checking outputs, testing against controls before trusting results, and planning launches with a way to roll back.
  • Ability to work effectively with marketers and explain trade-offs plainly.
  • Fluent English.
