About The Position

Made In is hiring a growth marketer to own outcomes across paid media, measurement, and revenue-driving CRM in partnership with the Head of Growth, working on an eight-figure annual budget. This is a hands-on generalist role requiring depth in Google and Meta advertising, sound measurement judgment, and practical use of AI to improve work efficiency. The role spans channel strategy and execution, forecasting and performance reporting, incrementality testing, creative and audience planning, emerging-channel experiments, CRM collaboration, sale events, and agency management. The Growth Marketing Lead will also help build internal tools through AI tools and light scripting. During the first 90 days, the hire will take ownership of weekly pacing reports, deliver a measured structural change in Google or Meta and a channel test, and run a sale event or launch end to end. The position is based at Made In's South Austin headquarters, with the team working in-office Monday through Thursday and the option to work remotely Fridays. Exceptional remote candidates in US Central or Eastern time will be considered.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, mostly at DTC e-commerce brands.
  • Deep, recent, hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including the ability to build campaigns personally.
  • Working fluency in Klaviyo or a similar email service provider.
  • Measurement literacy beyond last-click attribution, including attribution windows, view-through measurement, geo holdouts, marketing mix modeling, and reasons measurement approaches may disagree.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced spreadsheet skills; advanced Sheets is required.
  • Daily use of AI tools for real work, with the ability to demonstrate something built or automated.
  • Clear written communication, including Slack updates and documents that can stand in for meetings.
  • Comfort with being the most senior channel specialist in the room while also doing hands-on execution.
  • For Director-level candidates: experience owning a seven- or eight-figure budget and a P&L-level number.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience buying CTV, audio, AppLovin, or direct mail.
  • Experience in a premium or considered-purchase category, such as home, kitchen, or durable goods.
  • Experience running BFCM at a brand with significant seasonality.
  • Comfort with Python, Apps Script, or AI coding tools.
  • SQL, BigQuery, or experience with a BI tool.
  • Experience with SMS platforms such as Attentive or Postscript.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and hands-on execution across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Meta prospecting and retargeting, including account structure, bidding, budget allocation, feed inputs, and creative inputs.
  • Manage daily pacing against forecast and plan; prepare month-to-date and year-over-year weekly reads; explain performance drivers; and lead the weekly media strategy meeting using a trusted scorecard.
  • Design and interpret geo holdouts and lift tests, work with the marketing mix modeling partner, and reconcile platform ROAS, GA4, and incrementality to inform budget decisions.
  • Plan paid social for audience reach and saturation, partner with creative strategists on briefs, and identify creative fatigue before it affects CPA.
  • Run phase-gated tests for emerging channels including TikTok, AppLovin, CTV, audio, and direct mail, with explicit scale, hold, and kill criteria.
  • Work in Klaviyo and Attentive with the retention team and agency on audiences, suppression, send economics, and sale-event calendars; assess the value of sends relative to resulting unsubscribes.
  • Plan and run major sale events and launches, including BFCM and Seconds sales, covering forecasting, budget ramps, pre-flight checks, launch-day monitoring, and post-mortems.
  • Manage agencies and platform representatives against clear briefs and scorecards, and challenge proposals when the supporting math is insufficient.
  • Use AI tools and light scripting to automate reporting, QA, bulk uploads, and analysis, and contribute to shaping internal tools.
  • Within the first 30 days, own the weekly pacing read and explain its details; within 60 days, ship a Google or Meta structural change with a pre-registered success metric and a channel test with a written verdict; within 90 days, run a sale event or launch end to end and take day-to-day channel decisions off the Head of Growth's plate.
