Before and After School Group Leader
About The Position
AlphaBEST is hiring a part-time Group Leader at Tewksbury Elementary School in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The Group Leader guides school-age students through engaging before- and after-school activities, including fitness, arts, and technology, with training and support provided. The role fosters creativity, intellectual curiosity, and positive relationships among staff, children, and parents in a caring, family-oriented environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with availability required for both morning and afternoon sessions: 6:45–8:30 a.m. and 3:00–6:00 p.m. No weekends are required. Pay is $18.00 per hour. A $300 hiring bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- Group Leaders must be at least 18 years old.
- Be available Monday through Friday for both morning and afternoon sessions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas.
- Collaborate with peers to encourage children's curiosity and engagement.
- Build on students' interests and talents to foster creativity and intellectual curiosity.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment that supports positive relationships among staff, children, and parents.
