About The Position

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students in a fun, safe environment. The Group Leader leads students through before- and after-school activities and helps create a supportive, inclusive setting where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The position is at Brookvale Elementary and Forest Park, serving TK–5th grade students. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with two shifts offered and no weekends. Pay is $22 per hour, with a $300 hiring bonus.

Requirements

• Have an associate degree or higher, 48 completed college credits, or have successfully passed a paraeducator exam.
• Enjoy working with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
• Take child safety seriously and follow procedures closely.
• Be flexible, reliable, and ready to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Make child safety the top priority and follow procedures closely.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
