About The Position

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs that engage students in a fun and safe environment. The Group Leader helps create meaningful before- and after-school experiences, leads students through daily curriculum activities, prioritizes child safety, and helps maintain an organized, supportive, and inclusive space. The role is located at listed sites in Kenton/Independence, Kentucky, with floaters needed. The schedule requires working both the 7 a.m.–9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.–6 p.m. shifts. Pay is $15 per hour, with a $200 hiring bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Six months of school-age experience.
Ability to work both the 7 a.m.–9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.–6 p.m. shifts.

Responsibilities

Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
Make child safety the top priority and follow procedures closely.
Keep the space clean and organized.
Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
