About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is hiring a Group Leader for its before- and after-school programs at Cold Spring School. The role supports students in a fun, safe, structured, and high-energy environment, leading daily curriculum activities and helping children learn, grow, and thrive. Activities include World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts. The position offers hands-on experience and training for people interested in education, leadership, or related fields.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting involving regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Enjoy working with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
• Take child safety seriously and follow procedures closely.
• Be flexible and reliable.

Nice To Haves

• Interest or studies in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation, or Youth Development.
• Interest in gaining leadership experience while in school.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Make child safety the top priority and follow procedures closely.
• Keep the program space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
• Be flexible, reliable, and ready to help wherever needed.
