Group Home Caregiver
About The Position
Sevita is hiring a Group Home Caregiver to help people grow, learn, and live well. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve, support their participation in community activities, and help them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. The full-time schedule is every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., plus every other weekend from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pay is $18.73 per hour.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
- Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
