Group Home Caregiver
About The Position
Sevita is hiring a full-time float Group Home Caregiver. The role requires availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed, flexibility when schedules change, and willingness to work in a variety of settings between Bloomington and Maple Grove, Minnesota. The wage is $22.97 per hour, and at least three years of experience working in a group home setting is required. Caregivers help people grow, learn, and live well by building meaningful relationships, supporting participation in community and favorite activities, and helping individuals work toward goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role also involves assisting with personal hygiene and supporting people who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Requirements
- At least three years of experience working in a group home setting.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.
- Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes and work across settings from Bloomington, Minnesota, to Maple Grove, Minnesota.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
- Skills in communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
