About The Position

Sevita is hiring a part-time Group Home Caregiver. The caregiver supports people with developmental goals and complex needs, helping them grow, learn, live well, and participate in their community. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges. Caregivers develop meaningful relationships with the people they serve and help with activities such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

The schedule is every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday through Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The wage is $19.35 per hour. Full-time employees receive a full benefits package, including a 401(k); the posting also mentions paid time off and holiday pay.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is not required.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
