About The Position

The Group Home Caregiver supports people with developmental goals and complex needs, helping them grow, learn, and live well. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene, building meaningful relationships, supporting community participation and favorite activities, and helping participants with goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers must be willing to work with individuals who may display physical or verbal aggression and to transport clients in a company van.

The position is in West Wyoming and pays $16 per hour. Full-time schedules are available at 32 or more hours per week; the listed weekend schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., totaling 32 hours. New caregivers must attend one week of paid orientation, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months after receiving a permit or intermediate license.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Willingness to transport clients in a company van.
• Availability to attend one week of paid orientation, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Willingness to work with individuals who may display physical and verbal aggression.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
