About The Position

Sevita is seeking a Group Home Caregiver to support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve, encourage community participation and favorite activities, and support goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Caregivers are expected to be patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
