About The Position

Sevita is hiring a part-time day-position Group Home Caregiver at $22.00 per hour. Caregivers help people with developmental disabilities grow, learn, and live well by building meaningful relationships, supporting community participation and favorite activities, and assisting with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Behavioral autism experience is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Behavioral autism experience required.
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Skills in communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible disposition.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help participants grow, learn, and live well.
