About The Position

Sevita is hiring a full-time Group Home Caregiver at $18.35 per hour. Caregivers help people grow, learn, and live well by building meaningful relationships, supporting participation in the community and favorite activities, and helping participants work toward goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role includes assistance with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Skills in communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
