About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead to direct a warehouse work group during the second shift. The role leads the crew during the shift and helps ensure operational goals for safety, quality, and productivity are achieved. The coordinator assigns work schedules, trains associates, monitors their progress, provides day-to-day direction and guidance, and manages daily workloads.

The scheduled shift is 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Pay is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium. The position is onsite. Requirements

• 6–12 months of warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience operating an Order (Cherry) Picker, Stand Up, and Reach Truck.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew during the shift and help ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Assign work schedules and manage daily workloads for the work group.
• Train associates, including conducting training for new associates.
• Monitor associate progress and performance within the work group.
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to the work group.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by work-group members for accuracy and legibility.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
