About The Position

The Group Coordinator Lead directs the day-to-day work of an assigned group, including assigning schedules and workloads, training associates, and monitoring their progress. The role coordinates daily operations, provides guidance, and helps ensure accurate, safe, and timely processing of returns, SKUs, LPNs, and inventory transactions. The position is on first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with pay of $21.00.

Requirements

• 6–12 months of warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily workload for an assigned group and assign work schedules.
• Conduct start-of-shift communication and ensure associates understand their assignments.
• Monitor workflow and adjust labor within the assigned area as operational priorities change.
• Support accurate processing of returns, SKUs, LPNs, and inventory transactions.
• Train new associates on standard work and safe operating practices.
• Monitor associate performance and progress.
• Monitor quality and identify errors before product moves to the next process.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by work-group members for accuracy and legibility.
• Escalate safety, system, inventory, staffing, and productivity issues to the supervisor.
• Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
• Maintain clear shift handoff information.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Lead by example in safety, quality, accuracy, urgency, and teamwork.
