About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead to provide day-to-day direction and guidance to a work group. The role assigns work schedules and duties, trains associates, monitors their progress and performance, and manages daily workloads. The position takes direction from a supervisor and leadership team and helps ensure the team meets its metrics.

This is a second-shift position, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Pay is $22.75 per hour, with a $1.00 shift differential. Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Requirements

• 6–12 months of warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certificate, or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assign work schedules and duties to associates, delegating jobs as needed.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Monitor associate progress and performance within the work group and help ensure the team meets its metrics.
• Manage daily workloads and provide day-to-day direction and guidance to the work group.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by work-group members for accuracy and legibility.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
