About The Position

The Group Coordinator Lead assigns work schedules, trains associates, monitors their progress, and provides day-to-day direction and guidance to the work group. The role is responsible for daily workloads and includes maintaining records, reviewing work-group documents, monitoring performance, securing the building as directed, and reporting unsafe conditions. The position works a second shift Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, and pays $21.00.

Requirements

• 6–12 months of warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• At least 6 months of experience using a commercial warehouse management system such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, or JDA; first preference is given to candidates with this experience.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse work, general labor, quality control, material handling, loading/unloading, equipment operation, reach truck, or dock stocker work.

Responsibilities

• Assign work schedules and manage daily workloads for the work group.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by work-group members for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor the performance and progress of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor when they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
